Property prices in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) have reached a new record high, with Shang Properties’ Horizon Homes now commanding a price of P881,000 per square meter. This is a significant increase from the previous transaction price of P810,000 per square meter.
Horizon Homes is a luxury condominium located on the corner of 3rd Avenue and 30th Street in BGC. It offers only 98 units, ranging from 250 to 417 square meters. The limited number of units and just five per floor make this development a highly sought-after property.
The recent price increase in Horizon Homes is attributed to the scarcity of available units. As demand for luxury condominiums in BGC continues to grow, prices are likely to remain high.
Near Horizon Homes is Ayala Land’s The Suites. This 63-story tower boasts 298 residential suites spanning 136 to 430 square meters. Recent transactions reveal a significant price increase from P470,000 to P640,000 per square meter.
Meanwhile, in Makati, Rockwell’s Proscenium holds the title of the most expensive property, commanding P415,000 per square meter. Ayala Land’s Park Terraces is the second most expensive property, with a price of P380,000 per square meter.
Philis Cruz, director of the Residential Department at Leechiu Property Consultants, expressed confidence in real estate investments in the Philippines. She cited the consistent appreciation of property prices as evidence of the strong demand for real estate in the country.
“If you ask when is the best time to buy real estate, it’s always now,” Cruz said.
